At Mountain Lodge Ciurnadù, good food is accompanied by a breathtaking view.

The half-board service includes a four-course menu and a rich vegetable buffet for dinner. Each dish combines the tradition and creativity of our chefs, with the mission of celebrating the typical cuisine of South Tyrol. We use fresh products, which are found on site, and their flavours are enhanced by cooking them with a wood-fired oven, as was done in the past.

Our dining room is not only a place to enjoy delicious Ladin and Tyrolean dishes, but also a privileged vantage point to admire the spectacular peaks of the Dolomites of Val Badia.

Buffet breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it supplies you with the energy needed for the day ahead in the Dolomites.

Every morning, admire the mountainous panorama surrounding La Valle and savour our sweet and savoury buffet based on typical and international products. From local cheeses and cured meats to freshly baked croissants and cakes, we at Hotel Ciurnadù try to satisfy all your tastes.

The eggs we use come from our own farm and we cook them on the spot according to your preferences, try our special speck scrambled eggs! Every morning the bread arrives fresh from our trusted baker and our chef Alex prepares his special wholemeal dough based on seeds and cereals for homemade bread.

Hot drinks such as tea and coffee are served at the table for a good start to the day and to ensure maximum comfort during your holidays in Alta Badia.

Traditional cuisine

The restaurant of Mountain Lodge Ciurnadù is a place where guests become part of our family. This is now the fourth generation of family chefs: from great-grandmother Maria to grandmother Rita, and now Alex and his son Luca work in the kitchen. Rita and Matteo take care of the service in the dining room, creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere where each dish is a sensory experience that combines flavours, aromas and the tradition of the Dolomites. From appetisers to desserts, all dishes are cooked in our wood-fired oven and every bite tells a story of South Tyrol.

Local products

We believe that the most authentic flavours come from the earth, which is why we use vegetables, herbs, eggs and smoked bacon that come directly from our garden and farm. At the table, we make our guests experience special moments wrapped in authenticity, promoting a philosophy that enhances simple and sustainable cuisine. Each of our ingredients tells the story of the territory, offering a carbon-neutral gastronomic experience.
